CAN YOU HEAR ME

I know of 2 available versions of this track. The 1st is the regular version as found on Young Americans, the other is a slower version without the string section of the original. I find the latter to be a more intimate affair.
When Young americans was put out on Ryko, the only noticable change was some echo on percusion on "Fascination". Odd, because I know of no other remastered track that has been tampered with in this way.
The additional tracks for this album on the Ryko release beggar the whyfores of their ommision originally (I'd have hapilly left out "Across the universe" but hey, LP's were short affairs back when (22 mins a side seemed to be the regulation).
